What arrives is what came off the line, sold as one lot with freight included to any US state.

What raw means on an Amazon raw general merchandise load

Processed loads cost more because somebody has already done work on them: pulled the obvious rubbish, grouped the good pieces, sometimes tested electricals. Raw freight skips all of that. The upside is the price per unit, which is the lowest we can offer. The downside is that the sorting labour now belongs to you, and a meaningful share of any raw load will not be worth listing. Buyers who do well with raw stock are the ones who already know their per hour sorting rate and have priced it in.

Condition and expectations

Condition runs the full spread inside a single trailer, from sealed and untouched to visibly broken. Nothing is graded. Assume missing accessories, absent manuals, damaged retail packaging and a portion that is only good for parts or disposal. This is an as-is sale in the plainest sense of the term.

The sorting job is the business

Treat the unload as the first shift of work rather than the end of the purchase. Set up three zones before the trailer arrives: list, test, scrap. Move every carton into one of the three on first handling and resist the urge to re-examine. Speed matters more than precision on raw freight, because the profit sits in the volume you process, not in rescuing individual pieces. Anything that needs a battery, a cable or a missing part goes in the test zone and gets one session, not five.

Who should avoid raw freight

If this is your first liquidation purchase, buy a graded pallet instead. Raw trailers punish inexperience: without a feel for what sells and what does not, the sorting stalls and the trailer sits. Delivery and inspection

The price covers freight to any US state. No specific arrival date is guaranteed and preparation time depends on the size and nature of the load, as set out in the shipping policy. Inspect the freight when it arrives, photograph anything damaged including the packaging, and contact us quickly if something is wrong. Do not send goods back without speaking to us first.

Costing your own sorting time

The entry price on raw freight is only half of what the load costs you. The other half is hours, and it is the half most buyers forget. Before ordering, work out a rough rate for your own time or your crew’s, estimate how long a trailer takes to process end to end, and add that figure to the purchase price. That total is your real cost of goods. Raw stock still usually wins on the maths, but it wins by a smaller margin than the sticker suggests, and knowing the true number is what stops a good buy from feeling like a bad one halfway through the sort.

What raw freight does to cash flow

Graded stock converts to cash quickly because much of it can be listed the day it lands. Raw stock does not. Money goes out in one payment and comes back slowly across weeks of sorting and listing, which is fine if you have working capital behind you and painful if you do not. Buyers who run into trouble with raw trailers are rarely wrong about the value in the load, they have simply tied up more cash than their business could afford to have sitting on a warehouse floor. Size the purchase against your cash position, not against the bargain.

Common questions on raw loads

How much of a raw load is usually unsellable?

It varies by trailer and we will not quote a figure we cannot stand behind. Plan for a real percentage of scrap and build it into your costing.

Is raw cheaper than graded stock?

Yes, that is the entire reason the format exists. You are paid in price for taking on the sorting work and the risk.

Is there any manifest?

No. Raw freight is sold unmanifested by definition.

Can I return the parts I cannot sell?

No. Unsellable stock is the known risk on an as-is purchase. Claims cover damage in transit or goods materially different from the description.

Do you test electricals before shipping?

Not on a raw load. Nothing is powered up, opened or checked before it leaves.

What is the safest way to pay?
